Pictures from the Official Opening of the Refurbished Village Hall which took place on the family Fun day and Barbecue, Sun 29 August 2010.

 

Members of the community gather, dodging the squalls, to enjoy a barbecue while all ages joined in rounders and games.

 

The kite workshop had to be abandoned due to very strong winds, but the kits will be brought out again next year!

   

The chairman of the village hall committee, "Len" Glen-Davison sets the scene for the opening of the hall. Bobby Blain, longest serving memeber of the village hall committee is helped by the youngest members of the community to cut the symbolic bailer twine.

   

The barbecue gets the professional touch from Richard, and is enjoyed by all!
